Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Athletic Club for the signing of Julen Agirrezabala.

The goalkeeper from Gipuzkoa (26/12/2000) joins on loan for the current season, with the Club holding a purchase option at the end of the campaign.

At 24 years of age, Julen Agirrezabala has already shown his reliability and great potential with decisive performances, such as the one that helped Athletic Club win the Copa del Rey in 2024. Since making his debut at the top level in 2021, he has established himself as one of the most promising goalkeepers in Spanish football.

The new Valencia CF player featured in 29 matches last season across LaLiga, the Europe League and the Copa del Rey. He brings experience, ambition to grow alongside the Club, and stands out for his bravery and aerial dominance, qualities that earned him a place in the Spain National U21 side that reached the EURO final in 2023.
